With little to no experience with professional contractors and renovations, we were not in a position to be hasty or take lightly our decision of choosing a contractor for our project. After initially meeting Pete, I knew he was right for us and for what we were ready to tackle. However, everyone we spoke to advised obtaining multiple estimates and meeting with more than just one contractor. I couldn't imagine having a better feeling about anyone else, regardless of what their estimate was.  We decided that a reference would provide us with enough insight to trust our instincts and to make the move ahead with Protege Developments. From the start, Pete was up front and communicative with expectations of a renovation of this size and how each stage would impact our family and our day-to-day lives.  The guys on the job were easy to have around - friendly, professional, and clearly maintained a high level of standard in their expertise, which is showcased in all aspects throughout our house. When our family finally made the big decision to have a new home built, we also made the fortunate choice of hiring Peter Waldhuber as our general contractor.
